Dave Michaels is a 35 year veteran of the Dallas/Ft. Worth radio landscape, having worked in many different facets of the broadcast industry, including stints as a traffic reporter for 27 different radio stations in the DFW area, to being producers for both Chuck Cooperstein and Kate Delaney "The Sports Princess" while at KTCK 1310 The Ticket, sports director for KLUV 98.7 and KVCE AM 1160, as well as working for legendary radio frequencies such as 1190 when they switched call letters to KGBS with Morton Downey Jr., and of course 1310, which was the FIRST radio frequency in Dallas, and the first West of the Mississippi in 1920. Dave also has owned and operated his own production company, Davradio Productions, which produces live broadcast on the internet with High School Football, Basketball and Baseball, to College sports with talk shows surrounding the annual Goodyear Cotton Bowl Classic, and Texas Collegiate League Baseball games, and professional sports with the AT&T Byron Nelson, the Crown Plaza Invitational at Colonial, to hosting talk shows on stations such as 990AM The All New Sports Fan, and KVCE AM 1160, to co-hosting shows with current and former Dallas Cowboys, such as Emmitt Smith, Eugene Lockhart, Nate Jones, Everson Walls, Andre Gurode, as well as former players such as Kevin Smith, Sean Salisbury, and Cory Proctor who all played in the NFL. Dave can also be seen doing work on Time Warner Cable Sports on the Texas Channel with SMU football and Basketball, and High School Football during the regular season and then later when the playoffs continue. Dave is a native of Dallas, graduated from Skyline High School and attended the University of Texas. He enjoys playing golf, trivia, and smoking cigars. Hes single, and has no children.
