After splitting two games at the Cane Cutters Friday and Saturday, the Marshals return home to face the new TCL franchise, the Texarkana Twins.  The Twins made their first trip to Graham Field as they took on the Marshals for a two game series.

The Marshals responded to a run in the top of the 3rd with two in the bottom of that inning.  Eric Bullock (Tyler J.C.) delivered a single that drove in both of those runs.  Andre Ruche (Central Baptist College) and Derek Mueller (Navarro C.C.) scored on the hit.  The Twins tied it up in the top of the 6th, however a Phillip Kunsa (Middle Tennesee State University) sac fly drove in Josh Aguilar (University of Louisiana-Lafayette) to take a 3-2 lead.  That lead was enough behind the start of Jose Delmar (Central Baptist College).  Delmar went 7 innings allowing 6 hits 2 runs (1 earned) 3 walks and 2 strikeouts.  Alex Harper-Cook (University of Tennessee) went for the 2 inning save only allowing 1 walk and had 2 strikeouts.  The Marshals improved to 3-10 and will take on the Twins for game two of the series tonight at 7:05pm.  Following tonights game the Marshals will be traveling to Texarkana to face the Twins for a two game road trip.

The next home series for the Marshals will be the 15th and 16th vs the Victoria Generals.
